Our vision

Last year our non profit rescue purchased 5 acres of land in beautiful Weare NH. Our land is abundant with rolling hills, big open area, and many surrounding streams and brooks. Our land is very similar to our current location in New Boston , and has all of the beauties that help dogs explore, learn, and play! Now, we are ready to take the next step to build a new facility on our land so we can help MORE DOGS AND PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY!

Having our land and a bigger facility will allow our rescue to have fewer limitations in our processes and give “misunderstood dogs” more time learning outdoors and exploring which will help them be happy and healthy during their stay at our rescue.

The new facility will be a large open, modular space so that we can configure the lay out to best suit the needs of the dogs we are helping! The type of dogs we help are so diverse, and there needs are not “one size fits all”…so our facility can’t be that way either. Having a large open space will allow us to work with our dogs through the life cycle of their stay to meet all of their needs. Our space is a reflection of our mission so we will have space for exposure to dogs, small playgroups, 1:1 quality time, exercise, and learning. Long term rescue dogs will benefit from some of the elements of a home environment that will have - the ability to practice skills and spend time with their care givers in our den, kitchen, and even bathroom will help dogs be more successful when they go into their homes. We will continue to use our high quality, extra large and extra secure runs and crates which are essential to work with dogs with behavioral issues. We will have a dog washing station, sink and prep station, and laundry in our new facility so that our volunteers can have the best possible tools to keep our facility sanitized and our dogs healthy!
