In Loving Memory of Dozer

Dozer

There are some dogs who quietly pass through your life... and then there are dogs like Dozer — the kind of soul you never forget.

Dozer was joy in its purest form.

Goofy, loving, larger than life, and always wearing a smile, he had a way of making everyone around him smile too. He didn’t just enter a room — he arrived, with his wagging spirit, huge personality, and that unforgettable grin that will forever be engraved in our hearts.

He loved everyone he met, especially kids, and never ‘missed a chance to make a new friend. Whether he was proudly trotting beside you on a walk, riding shotgun as the happiest “passenger prince,” or bouncing around the pen with Minni in full zoomie ‘mode, Dozer embraced every moment with excitement and gratitude.

And oh, how he loved the grass.

Every walk included a mandatory stop for one of his legendary grass rolls — belly up, legs in the air, completely carefree. No one enjoyed life quite the way Dozer did.

He never acted his age. His spirit stayed forever young — playful, curious, always looking for love, snacks, or an opportunity to “confirm” the trash didn’t contain something delicious. One unforgettable moment involved him casually stealing a bagel right out of someone’s hand, then looking up with the most innocent face imaginable, as if to say, “Oops... forgive me?”

One of the most beautiful things about Dozer was how genuinely happy he was simply to be alive. He reminded everyone around him to find joy in the little things — a car ride, a grassy patch, a good walk, wrestling with Minni, or simply being near the people who loved him.

Dozer had a huge presence, not because he demanded attention, but because his heart was impossible to ignore. He made people laugh, made people feel loved, and made ordinary moments feel special.

While our hearts ache deeply in his absence, we are so grateful for the time we had with him. He will be missed more than words can express, loved forever, and remembered every time we see a dog rolling happily in the grass, stealing a snack they weren't supposed to have, or greeting the world with a giant smile and grateful heart.

Some dogs leave paw prints. Dozer left joy.

Run free, sweet Dozer. Thank you for the laughter, the love, and the reminder to greet every day with joy.
