Accountant (Volunteer Position)

Second Chance Ranch Rescue is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to serve as a volunteer member of the Finance support team. The Accountant plays an important role in supporting the financial health, accountability, and long-term sustainability of the organization.

Working closely with the Treasurer, Board of Directors, fundraising leadership, and operational teams, the Accountant provides essential account support, financial recordkeeping, reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting assistance. Their work ensures accurate financial data, strong internal controls, and reliable information that helps advance the mission of SCRR.

President - Board of Directors (Volunteer Position)

Second Chance Ranch Rescue is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and mission-driven leader to serve as Volunteer President of the SCRR Board of Directors. The President plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the entire organization, providing a safe and open environment for collaboration and communication, as well as a steward of action and long-term sustainability of the organization. 

Working closely with the Board of Directors, onsite employees, veterinarians, trainers and select supporters, trainers, donors, community partners and supporters, the President fosters a culture of transparency, accountability, teamwork, and compassion while ensuring the organization remains focused on delivering exceptional care for the dogs entrusted to us. The President plays a critical role in guiding organizational growth, strengthening community relationships, supporting fundraising efforts, and building a strong, engaged leadership team capable of advancing the mission of Second Chance Ranch Rescue for years to come.
